‘Machete rampage at travellers’ site’

An unwanted guest hacked a party-goer with a machete causing him to nearly lose his hand in a rampage at a travellers’ site, a court heard. Michael Mongan, 26, allegedly ‘behaved like a lunatic,’ charging at multiple victims at the end of the bash in St Theresa Close, Hackney, east London, on 9 September. A 17-year-old, who cannot be named due to legal reasons, is also accused of knifing Christopher Lawrence together with Mongan as celebrations drew to a close….
