Man denies iron bar attack

  A man accused of an iron bar attack in Wanstead has denied the assault. Alfie Court, 23, caused actual bodily harm to James Davenport, it is claimed. He was also charged with possessing an offensive weapon, having on him a black metal bar. He pleaded not guilty to both counts at Snaresbrook Crown Court today.
