Motorist to face trial over death of TfL worker

  A motorist who ploughed into a TfL worker causing fatal injuries today (Weds) denied causing death by dangerous driving. John Mulligan, 31, collided with 54-year-old Paul Weidlich on Creek Road, Deptford, southeast London, at around 5.30pm on 14 June last year. Mr Weidlich, who was on foot, suffered catastrophic head injuries and died in hospital a few hours later.
