MP was investigated over expenses fiddle claims

MP Anna Soubry admitted she was investigated by police following allegations of election expenses fiddling three years ago. The Tory politician told the trial of her fellow parliamentarian Craig Mackinlay, 52, that she found it ‘extremely difficult’ to be quizzed by Nottinghamshire police.
