A Filipino nurse who killed a pensioner in a blood transfusion blunder after mixing up his name with another patient is facing jail. Lea Ledesma, 48, gave 76-year-old Ali Huseyin AB-type blood meant for fellow patient Irfan Hussain, 37, who was blood group ‘O’.
