Nurses who blunders over patient’s lethal sores face ban
Two nurses who failed to react to a patient’s deadly pressure sore are facing suspension. Care home nurses Fiona Brennan and Abigail Sherman were both deemed unfit to practice after they failed to refer a retired matron who died from related complications. Myfanwy Osborne, 83, passed away just over three months after she was admitted to Beechfield’s Nursing Home in Lichfield, Staffordshire.
