One legged man killed by his own car

A one-legged man was hit and killed by his own Mercedes when he tried to stop a thief driving away in the car, a court heard. Marc Allen, 51, who had a prosthetic leg, disturbed Errol Woodger, 38, as he broke into his ground floor flat in Erith, southeast London, in the early hours of 29 December 2019.
