Retrial for Peckham ‘killer’

Alvaro Mendoza Sillerico, 26, is said to have knifed Juan Olmos-Saca, 39, in the heart outside their home in Atwell Road, Peckham Rye on 28 January this year. Flatmates Calix Sanchez-Flores and Manuel Carenas found Mr Olmos-Saca slumped in an alleyway covered with blood from a stab wound to his upper-left chest. The victim was rushed to Kings College Hospital with a 28mm stab wound and medics kept Olmos-Saca alive until 2 February, when he finally succumbed to his wounds….
