Romanian nurse could not read drugs labels

A Romanian nurse whose English was so poor she could not read medication labels has been struck off. Delia Maria Naghi failed to meet competency standards while working at Great Western Hospital in in Swindon, Wiltshire, in 2017. Naghi cleaned a patient’s wound by using surface cleaning disinfectant wipes, the Nursing and Midwifery Council was told.
