‘Sexual deviant’ demanded nude pics
A graphic designer who terrorised six women in an online abuse campaign was jailed for more than five years and branded a ‘twisted, callous, sexual deviant.’
Shaquille Williams, 26, threatened to humiliate or attack his victims unless they sent him nude photos.
Williams blackmailed one woman by threatening to send private sexual photographs of her to her family and friends unless she sent him more images which he tried to direct.
University graduate Williams sent the women abusive messages through a network of social media accounts, including photos of acid attack victims.
One victim received messages containing the name of her home town, a picture of hydrochloric acid and a message of the name of her road.
She had already been targeted by paedophile Abdul Hasib Elahi, who also conned victims into sending him intimate photos.
Elahi, 26, is currently awaiting sentencing after admitting 158 sickening online offences – thought to be the most crimes ever admitted by one person.
He pretended to be a businessman or stockbroker on ‘sugar daddy’ websites and blackmailed his victims into filming themselves performing degrading acts for his own sick pleasure.
Elahi, of Sparkhill, Birmingham, sold depraved ‘box sets’ of the abuse to nearly 2,000 people across the globe.
He forced some of his victims to self-mutilate and blackmailed women to send him footage of themselves abusing young children.
Williams, of Hartness Road, Clifton, Nottingham, denied but was convicted of blackmail, three counts of harassment, three counts of putting them in fear of violence, and two counts of sending grossly offensive messages to two other women.
He was jailed for five years and three months at Nottingham Crown Court today.
NCA Senior Investigating Officer Andy Peach said: ‘Williams inflicted extreme terror on these victims – they have been exceptionally brave in coming forward to ensure he faced justice and went to jail.
‘Williams is a coward and a twisted, callous, sexual deviant.
‘Some of his crimes were made possible because of Abdul Elahi whose sadistic depravity and scale of offending horrified the investigative team.
‘There are a series of other inquiries into Elahi’s associates.’

Elahi has admitted 158 offences including blackmail, disclosing private photos, distributing indecent images, causing a child to engage in sexual activity, fraud, possessing extreme pornography, causing or inciting the sexual exploitation of a child and possessing more than 65,000 indecent images of children – including babies being raped.
The offences were committed between 1 January 2017 and 7 August 2020.
Kirsty Nicholls, 35, of Northolt, west London, knew Elahi from a sugar daddy website and together they admitted two sexual assaults against a child and both admitted making indecent images of the child.
She will be sentenced with Elahi at Birmingham Crown Court on a date to be fixed.
