‘She became a millionaire nicking from property firms’

A woman accused of stealing £1.3m from property companies over a 20 year period will enter pleas next month.

Samina Khan, 47, allegedly plundered huge sums from employers at firms including Landmark Properties Limited between 29 January 1998 and 5 May 2017.

Nicholas Mesure, prosecuting, said: ‘Ms Khan is indicted on seven counts of theft working as a family company over 20 years.’

Khan wore a large navy blue coat with a fur hood and jeans in the dock and spoke only to confirm her name at Southwark Crown Court.

She is charged with three counts of theft by employee and four counts of theft by finding.

Khan was granted unconditional bail ahead of a plea and trial preparation hearing on January 17, 2020.
