Shopkeeper ‘slit his kids’ throats after customers upset him’

A shopkeeper who slit the throats of his two children while his wife was in the shower told police he was depressed because customers had ‘upset’ him, the Old Bailey heard. Nadarajah Nithiyakumar, 41, killed 19-month-old Pavinya and her three-year-old brother Nigish at their home in Aldborough Parade, Ilford, east London on 26 April.
