Son admits strangling his mother to death

A son who strangled his elderly mother to death at their home faces a life sentence. Angela Clayton, 74, was found dead by police at her terraced house in St George’s Square, Forest Gate, east London, at 12.36pm on 17 February. The mother and grandmother, originally from Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean, had lived on the street for more than 25 years.
