Trial delay for woman accused of stealing £160,000 from clinic

A woman accused of stealing nearly £160,000 from a medical diagnostic clinic will have to wait almost two years for her trial. Yara Ahmed, 54, allegedly diverted payments intended for the European Scanning Centre into her own account. The charge states a total of £158,165 was funnelled away from the company between 2 June 2019 and 10 April 2021.
