Son to stand trial for murdering elderly mum

A son accused of murdering his 84-year-old mum will stand trial in March 2023. Lesma Jackson was found with multiple injuries at a property on Stainton Rd, Enfield, north London, at around 2.15am on 30 January this year. Police officers had attended the residential address following concerns for her welfare. They found Ms Jackson suffering from a number of injuries and she was pronounced dead shortly after.
