Teenagers face jail for £39m TfL cyber attack
Two teenagers who carried out a £39m cyber attack on Transport for London are facing jail. Thalha Jubair, 19, and Owen Flowers, 18, hacked into the TfL system between 29 August and 3 September 2024, causing chaos for Oyster card users. The hacks prevented live Tube arrival information on TfL Go and the TfL website while online journey history was also unavailable.
