Thief raided Sikh temple’s donation box

A callous thief who helped himself to thousands of pounds from a Sikh temple’s donations box has been jailed for 18 months. Satwant Virdee, 48, was caught on camera forcing open the container and grabbing £3,000 at the Ramgharia Sikh Temple, in Hayes, west London on 26 November last year.
