Top doc who retired to Italy on his riches ‘was pervert’

A renowned doctor has appeared in court accused of historical sexual assaults on patients as young as 14. Dr Ariel Lant, 80, is said to have molested three men, all aged 28 and the teenager while they were being treated at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, on Fulham Road, Chelsea, between 1978 and 1994.
