Trial for former Charlton star

A former Premier League player charged with spending profits from a £5.3m investment fraud on ‘personal expenses and lifestyle’ will stand trial next June. Ex Charlton Athletic defender, Richard Rufus, 44, is accused of enticing investors into a massive foreign currency scam.
