Trial for terrorist linked ‘The Beatles’ cell

An alleged extremist linked to the Islamic terror cell known as ‘The Beatles’ will stand trial next February for terrorist offences. Aine Leslie Davies, 38, appeared at the Old Bailey today (Fri) charged with possessing a firearm suspected for terrorist purposes and funding terrorism. Davies was arrested at Luton Airport last month. Wearing a grey jumper, he appeared at court via video link from HMP Belmarsh.
