Trial next week for ‘hospital terrorist’

An accused terrorist allegedly caught with a bomb containing 13 kilos of explosives outside a maternity ward will stand trial next week. Mohammed Farooq, 27, also had an imitation pistol when he was found at St James’ Hospital in Leeds by a student nurse in the early hours of 20 January, it is said. A search of Farooq’s mobile phone devices revealed his interest in radical Islam and Jihad and he had been viewing material since 2020, it is claimed….
