Trial for teen who set mosque ablaze

A teenager accused of causing £7m of damage to London’s biggest mosque by setting it ablaze with a barbecue lighter is to stand trial in July. The 16-year-old, who comes from Surrey’s stockbroker belt, claims the fire at the Baitul Futuh mosque on London Road, Morden, was started accidentally.
