Uber driver ‘kicked and punched pregnant wife’

  An Uber driver kicked and punched his five month pregnant wife after calling her a prostitute, a court heard. Anargul Ghafori, 52, launched a ‘lengthy and sustained’ attack on Rahima Ghafori at their home in Colson Way, Wandsworth, on September 6 this year. Police were called after a neighbour heard a woman screaming and Ghafori was arrested. Ghafori, originally from Afghanistan, has lived in the UK since 2010 and works as an Uber cab driver.
