Underworld armourers face years behind bars

Three gangsters are facing jail for their part in a plot to smuggle cheap handguns into the UK from Eastern Europe. Michael Nicholls, 26, and Denis Kolencukov, 24, imported at least 89 Flobert pistols from the Czech Republic where they can be bought, with a tin of bullets, for less than £100. The guns are worth more than £1,000 on the black market and by the end of 2017 there were 33 separate incidents where 42 Flobert weapons were recovered…
