‘We clubbed man because he said he was going to get a gun’

Three brothers claim they clubbed a dying father with bats and poles after he was fatally slashed in the throat because they heard him say “I’m going to get a gun”, a court heard. Jerome Thomas, 38, Michael Hyde, 28, and Daniel Hyde, 32, are accused of stabbing 29-year-old Lashawn ‘Lash’ Williams, 11 times in Silvertown, east London, on 19 December 2019.
