White: Topy Tory Denies Fee Swindle

A former Tory peer today (tues) denied falsely claiming £3,300 in full-day attendance fees from the House of Lords. Paul White, also known as Lord Hanningfield, allegedly carried out the expenses fraud on 11 days in July 2013. The 75-year-old spoke only to confirm his name and deny false accounting when he appeared at Southwark Crown Court today (tues).
