Woman ‘broke quarantine laws on return from Brazil’

A woman accused of breaking Covid-19 quarantine rules after returning from Brazil will stand trial later this year. Ediane Ribeiro Ramos, 41, left her home in Thornton Heath, south London, after returning from the red-listed country on or before 7 September 2020. Ramos is accused of breaching the 10-day self-isolation requirement imposed on people arriving in the UK from a list of destinations in 2020.
