Transvestite ‘sexually assaulted female Tube passenger’

A transvestite sexually assaulted a woman after following her from a Tube station, a court heard. Paul Reed, 57, allegedly put a coat over the victim’s shoulders before rubbing her up and down on 28 July this year. Prosecutor Matt Barrowcliffe said: ‘Two officers’ attention was drawn to Mr Reed who was watching passengers as they left Covent Garden Station. ‘Thinking he was planning on committing theft they observed him. But it soon became clear he was particularly watching females….
