A shoplifter who swiped a bottle of wine from Harrods worth £1,795 was spared jail today. Gevorg Harutyunyan, 41, selected the Chateau Lafite Rothschild Pauillac Bordeaux 2008 from the fine wine section of the famous department store on 9 February. He then made to scarper with the pricey bottle but was stopped by staff, Hammersmith Magistrates Court heard.
