CAVE: ‘SEXUALLY ABUSED THREE GIRLS OVER A DECADE’
A man molested three young girls over a nine year period at his homes in London and Milton Keynes, a court heard.
Michael Cave, now 62, forced one victim to perform sex acts upon him up to three times a week, it is alleged.
Cave appeared before Snaresbrook Crown Court today charged with six counts of indecent assault between 1991 and 2000.
Prosecutor Paul Addison said: ‘What the prosecution say happened was that these young girls were indecently assaulted by the defendant by either him touching them or by making the girls touch him.’
He told the court the first of the alleged attacks happened between April 1991 and April 1992 while Cave lived in Hackney, east London.
The court heard his first victim was just ‘six or seven-years-old’ when he assaulted her.
He said Cave and the girl had been watching TV together in his bedroom.
‘He said to her to come and sit with him,’ he said.
‘She did as he requested and he put his arm around her.
‘He took he hand and put it on top of his trousers.’
The court heard the youngster was then forced to perform a sex act on Cave.
Mr Addison said Cave’s second alleged victim had also been abused while he lived in London between 1990 and 1995.
She was aged between nine and ten-years-old at the time.
The court heard the third girl was aged four when she was repeatedly abused at an address in Milton Keynes.
‘Sometimes he [Cave] would get her to sit on his lap and then she says that he would touch her,’ said Mr Addison.
‘This she said happened over three or four months about two to three times a week.
‘During the same period she claims the defendant would make her touch him.
‘She claims these assaults took place two to three times a week also.’
The court heard the allegations were not made against Cave until 2010 and he was arrested in October last year.
When he was interviewed by police he made no comment.
Cave, of (30) Ruthven Close, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Bucks, denies six counts of indecent assault.
