‘I’m just testing the machine’ said nurse addicted to laughing gas

A operating theatre assistant who could not stop getting high on laughing gas has been thrown out of the profession. Caroline Daniels claimed she was ‘testing’ the machine when she was found inhaling deeply on ‘hippy crack’ at the Frimley Park Hospital NHS trust. The Health and Care Professions Council heard Daniels had previously been caught abusing nitrous oxide at the Hampshire Clinic.
