Footballer jailed for stool attack

A non-league footballer who chase a man out of a bookies and beat him to the ground with a stool was jailed for nearly two years today (tues). Former Romford FC striker Joel Palmer, 29, smashed Mohammad Gul over the head with the chair, causing him serious facial fractures and hospitalising him for six days.
