Teacher said gay people ‘have a disease’

A science teacher who told pupils that gay people have a disease and are ‘sick in the head’ has been banned indefinitely. Joshua Onduso, 50, pointed to his head as he claimed ‘they have something wrong upstairs’ during a lesson with troubled teenagers. He later told his headteacher that he could not condone the behaviour of gay people because of his beliefs.
