Half-naked murder victim collapsed in the street

WOOD GREEN

A terrified murder victim fled half naked from his flat into the street after he was stabbed at a drink and drugs party, a court heard.

Grezgorz Pietrycki, 25, was heard screaming: ‘Why are you beating me, what have I done to you?’ shortly before he fled the house in Wood Green, north London, in just his boxer shorts.

A knife wound had severed his carotid artery and his windpipe he managed to stagger 200 feet down the road before he collapsed.

Police found him slumped against a wall and traced a trail of blood back to the murder scene.

Accused killers Grezgorz Gryzbek, 29, Grezgorz Szal, 38, and Patryck Pacheka, 30, had enjoyed a weekend binge at the flat, taking cannabis amphetamines and drinking heavily.

Neighbour Rafal Thomas had ran out of his bedsit and banged on the door to the front room when he heard Mr Pietrycki shouting

But by the time the police arrived at the blood-stained flat on Maryland Road, the alleged killers had fled.

Mr Pietrycki had knife wounds and cuts all over his body and was ‘covered in blood from head to toe’.

A 14cm stab wound, which went through his neck severing his wind pipe and corotid artery.

Prosecutor Anthony Orchard, QC, said: ‘The victim leapt from the window onto the street with nothing but a pair of shorts on.

‘He left the flat in a panic via the open front bay window. He ran towards Glendale Avenue.

‘His bare feet can be made out on the footage.’

When fitness fanatic Gryzbek was arrested on January 4 this year he was living with Ilona Hinc, 32, and her dog in Peterborough – she was using the name ‘Daria’ and he was calling himself ‘Christian’.

Hinc lied to police when she claimed ‘she had not seen or heard from him’ after the killing on August 23 last year, the court heard

Gryzbek, of High Road, Szal, of Lyndhurst Road, and Pacheka, of Maryland Road, all Wood Green, all deny murder.

Hinc, of High Road, Wood Green, denies assisiting an offender.

The trial continues.
