Metro bank clerk ‘was a crook’

A fraudster who allegedly used his position as a bank cashier to steal nearly £25,000 from unsuspecting customers has appeared in court. Mohammed Ali, 20, was the ‘inside man’ in the con at Metro Bank, Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard today. He allegedly accessed clients’ accounts, changed their mobile numbers and ordered new bank cards and PIN numbers.
