Prison official ‘had relationship with lag’

An equalities and diversity officer at a London prison had an inappropriate’ relationship with an inmate, a court heard. Former HMP Wormwood Scrubs officer Pamela Belonwu, 51, is said to have committed misconduct in public office in her dealings with inmate Clifton Thomas between 1 January 2019 and 3 July 2019.
