Schizophrenic has received ‘no punishment’ for killing former Wasps star

The family of a former Wasps rugby player knifed to death by a schizophrenic with a history of knife crime have asked the Attorney General to appeal against the killer’s ‘non-custodial’ sentence. Gurjeet Lall, 36, repeatedly stabbed Allan Isichei, 69, while in a state of ‘acute psychosis’ after failing to take his medication for 20 months. He had argued with Mr Isichei after the grandfather-of-five confronted him for spitting on the pavement. Lall then stabbed Mr Isichei in the stomach…
