Attacked with her own meat tenderiser

An accused burglar savagely beat a woman with her own meat tenderiser, a court heard David Craze, 39, left Katie Byrne severely injured after the assault in Gwendwr Road, Hammersmith, on 24 October last year. Craze, of Cheyne Court, Ruislip, attended Isleworth Crown Court for the first time via videolink from HMP Wandsworth. He admitted inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent, but denied aggravated burglary. Craze was remanded in custody ahead of a further hearing on 12 January….
