‘I like being kicked down below’

A university graduate accused of assaulting a woman outside a student bar after she passed out has told a court he liked being kicked in the genitals.

Louis Woods, 28, allegedly touched the complainant sexually during a night out at the Birkbeck University bar in central London on 18 March 2019.

The woman was drunk and went outside to the bar’s smoking area to get some air when she was assaulted, Wood Green Crown Court has heard.

Woods has told jurors he was ‘very very upset’ by her allegations.

Liam Gregory, prosecuting, asked hims: ‘Would you say you’ve acted as a sexual predator?’

Woods replied: ‘I would not gain any sexual gratification. I’m submissive I like being tied up, I could go into the details but I won’t…I’m submissive, I like to be kicked in the balls, sorry to be vulgar about it.’

Mr Gregory asked: ‘You’ve gone out with her when she is trying to get some fresh air outside?’

Woods replied: ‘We made a joint decision we walked out together.’

‘You sat at the furthest point on the terrace balcony,’ said Mr Gregory.

Woods replied: ‘If you had that missing CCTV you would see someone else was out there.’

‘When no one else was around, when no one was nearby, you penetrated her with your hand,’ said Mr Gregory

‘Do you accept that your acts are of that of a predator.’

‘No, I stopped. No means no,’ replied Woods

Judge Emma Deacon asked Wood: ‘Have you had a sexual relationship or had you, as of March 2019, had a sexual relationship with someone else?’

‘Yes, I have had sex. I am not a virgin’ replied Woods.

Woods, of Wandsworth, denies two charges of assault by penetration.

The trial continues.
