‘Speeding? It’s the Tesla’s fault,’ says ex BBC presenter

Former Newsnight presenter Adam Raphael blamed Tesla for failing to fit speed alert warnings as he failed to escape a driving ban. The 87-year-old was clocked driving at 26mph in his £40,000 Tesla Model on the A205 in Richmond, southwest London, last January 21. Raphael previously had nine points on his licence from three previous speeding offences, prosecutor Laura-Ann Harding said.
