Trial for man accused of murdering Thomas Jewitt
A man accused of beating a stranger to death at a busy London Underground station will face a murder trial next May. Thomas Jewitt, 32, was making his way home from Notting Hill Carnival when he was assaulted at Liverpool Street Station. Mr Jewitt, who worked for an affordable housing charity suffered serious head injuries on the Central Line platform.
