A mother-of-three encouraged her two sons to murde
A mother-of-three encouraged her two sons to murder a 16-year-old boy in a frenzied revenge attack, the Old Bailey heard today.

Alicia Jenkins, 54, drove David and Terry Jenkins around Bedfont and Feltham as they searched for Mitchell Davis in a ‘mission of retribution,’ it was claimed.
When they found their target, the mother and her two sons jumped out of her Mini Clubman with three accomplices, said prosecutor Mr Richard Horwell.
The victim was ‘left behind dying’ after David Jenkins slashed and stabbed him five times with a large kitchen knife, the court heard.
Mr Horwell said Mrs Jenkins was ‘the one person who should have used her influence and maturity to promote calm.
‘
‘But rather than stop them she encouraged and assisted them.
‘
The court heard Mr Davis had been involved in a number of violent confrontations with Terry Jenkins, 19, and David, 21, usually coming out on top.
During the afternoon of June 12 last year an ‘older man’ arrived in the Feltham High Street area where Mr Davis had been with friends.
‘He had armed himself with a knife or a screwdriver and he encouraged a one-to-one fight between Mitchell and Terry Jenkins,’ said Mr Horwell.
‘Mitchell got the better of the two and Terry Jenkins was punched to the ground.
‘The older man then intervened and with the knife or screwdriver in his hand he threatened to stab anyone [of the spectators or Mitchell] that moved.
‘
But as Terry Jenkins left the scene he was said to have shouted: ‘You wait, I will bring a knife and stab the lot of you’.
Mr Horwell told the court that: ‘This feud should have stopped here – it had already gone too far.
‘Wiser and older heads should have put an end to this dispute, but instead those in the dock encouraged and assisted in the planning of a revenge just as they encouraged and assisted in the execution of that plan.
‘
In the hours running up to midnight a posse was assembled as David Jenkins wildly brandished a large kitchen knife, the court was told.
‘The six defendants set out upon a mission of retribution, to violently punish the boy who died,’ Mr Horwell added.
Mr Mitchell suffered slicing wounds to the chest, abdomen, and lower back it the attack.
‘Although it was the hand of the first defendant, David Jenkins, on the knife, the other defendants bear a heavy responsibility for what happened that night,’ said Mr Horwell.
David and Terry Jenkins, of (7) Cleve Court, Bedfont, Middlesex, Alicia Jenkins, of (26) Cobold Court, Elverton Street, Pimlico, Russell Brown, 21, of (23a) Martyr Road, Guildford, Mark Arnell-Smith, 21, of (88) Keats way, West Drayton, and Victor Rey Blasco, 23, of (6) Gratton Terrace, Cricklewood, all deny murder.
The trial continues.
