Accused bomb hoaxers in court

Two accused bomb hoaxers who allegedly put a fake explosive mechanism at a central London address appeared at the Old Bailey today. Michael Broddle, 45, and a 17-year-old, who cannot be named, allegedly placed an object known as ‘device 1’ at Grays Inn Road, Bloomsbury, on September 21. Broddle appeared in court via videolink from HMP Wandsworth while the teenager, who is on bail, attended in person. They both denied conspiracy to place an article with intent. The charge reads:…
