Anti-vaxxer ‘encouraged Telegram audience to use IRA tactics’

An anti-vaxxer posted messages on Telegram encouraging his 26,000-strong ‘audience’ to adopt IRA tactics in response to Boris Johnson announcing lockdown restrictions, a court heard. Patrick Ruane, 55, was a member of two large Telegram groups named: ‘The Resistance UK’ and ‘The Great Reopening’, containing around 8,000 and 18,000 people respectively.
