Big Ben protestor told to stay in Southend
A protester who scaled Big Ben and clung to the landmark draped in a Palestine flag for more than 16 hours was warned to ‘stay in Southend’ by a judge. Daniel Day, 29, sparked a major emergency response on Saturday 8 March when he climbed part of the 96-metre-high Elizabeth Tower at the Palace of Westminster.
