Boy ‘murdered’ by parents suffered 39 fractures

A mother and her lover have denied murdering her two-year-old boy who suffered 39 separate bone fractures. Kyrell Matthews was allegedly attacked on five occasions in the four weeks leading to his death in October 2019. Pathologists recorded the official cause of death as blunt force trauma.
