A thug left his old school friend with serious head wounds after battering him with a metal pole in an unprovoked street attack, a court heard. Mohammed Jahangir Ali, 22, allegedly barged into Ali Akbor as the latter walked with his girlfriend to get something to eat at around 8pm on 30 November 2016.
