The wife of Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke crashed her £90,000 Mercedes after drinking champagne with a friend to help her get over breaking up with her boyfriend, a court heard. Fortunata Benteke, 25, ploughed into another car in Stanley Park Road, Carshalton, in her white Mercedes-Benz G Class 4×4.
