A mother accused of duping her friends out more than £500,000 to unlock an imaginary lottery win has been cleared of fraud after she insisted she was a victim too. Sheila Khatri, 49, duped victims claiming she had won £46.5million but needed to pay legal fees before the money could be released, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.
