Cop lied about whiplash to make 10k insurance claim

A police officer tried to con an insurance company by claiming he suffered whiplash injuries after he had to brake suddenly to avoid debris falling from a lorry, court heard. Mohammed Mulla, 38, said he was driving along the M606 in Bradford when an object fell from the back of a van and hit his car.
